Breast cancer, cancer that forms in tissues of the breast, usually the ducts (tubes that carry milk to the nipple (i.e., papilla mammae, or mammilla)) and lobules (glands that make milk). It occurs in both men and women, although male (i.e., masculine) breast (i.e., mamma masculina, or mamma virilis) cancer is rare.

      • It could seem to be apparant that, our findings show that elderly bosom cancer patients are more likely to die from something else other than from breast cancer for instance, age specific co-morbidities such as heart (i.e., cor, or coeur) attack (i.e., myocardial infarction).

      • One can recognize, women diagnosed with breast cancer late in life are at greater risk of dying from the disease than younger patients, assuming they survive other age-related conditions, according to a study revealed at the two thousand eleven European Multidisciplinary Cancer Congress. Multidisciplinary is in medicine, a term used to describe a treatment planning approach or team that includes a number of doctors and other health care professionals who are experts in different specialties (disciplines). In cancer treatment, the primary disciplines are medical oncology (treatment with drugs), surgical oncology (treatment with surgery), and radiation (i.e., radiatio) oncology (treatment with radiation).
