      • It`s obvious that, askin`s tumor (i.e., neoplasm), Ewings sarcoma, extraosseous sarcoma, primitive neuroectodermal tumor, PNET. Tumor is an abnormal (i.e., deviant) mass of tissue that results when cells divide more than they should or do not die when they should. Tumors may be benign (not cancer), or malignant (cancer). Also called neoplasm (i.e., new growth, or tumor). Sarcoma is a cancer of the bone (i.e., os), cartilage (i.e., cartilago, or chondrus), fat (i.e., adipose tissue), muscle (i.e., musculus, or see musculus), blood (i.e., haema) vessels, or other connective or supportive tissue. Primitive neuroectodermal tumor, one of a group of cancers that develop from the same type of early cells, and share certain biochemical and genetic features. Some primitive neuroectodermal tumors develop in the brain and central nervous system (i.e., systema nervosum) (CNS-PNET), and others develop in sites outside of the brain such as the limbs, pelvis, and chest (i.e., pectus) wall (i.e., thoracic wall) (i.e., paries) (peripheral (i.e., peripheralis, or eccentric) PNET). Also called PNET. Neuroectodermal tumor is a neoplasm of the central or peripheral nervous system. PNET, one of a group of cancers that develop from the same type of early cells, and contribution certain biochemical and genetic features. Some PNETs develop in the brain and central nervous system (CNS-PNET), and others develop in sites exterior of the brain such as the limbs, pelvis, and pectus (i.e., chest) wall (peripheral PNET). Also called primitive person neuroectodermal neoplasm.
