      • It could seem apparant that, stage zero or carcinoma in situ is the earliest stage of cervical (i.e., cervicalis) cancer where the cancer is found only in the top layer (i.e., panniculus) of cells in the tissues lining the cervix (i.e., neck, or cervix of uterus). Cervix is the lower (i.e., inferior, or lower tube (i.e., tuba)rcle), narrow end of the uterus (i.e., metra, or womb) that forms a canal (i.e., canalis) between the uterus and vagina (i.e., sheath). Cervical, relating to the neck (i.e., cervix, or collum), or to the neck of any organ or structure. Cervical lymph nodes are located in the neck. Cervical cancer refers to cancer of the uterine cervix, which is the lower, narrow end (the neck ) of the uterus. Carcinoma in situ is a group of abnormal cells that remain in the place where they first formed. They have not spread. These abnormal cells may become cancer and spread into nearby normal tissue. Also called stage 0 disease. Cervical cancer, cancer that forms in tissues of the cervix (the organ connecting the uterus and vagina). It is usually a slow-growing cancer that may not have symptoms but can be found with regular Pap tests (a procedure in which cells are scraped from the cervix and looked at under a microscope). Cervical cancer is almost always caused by human papillomavirus (i.e., papilloma virus) (HPV) infection. HPV is a type of virus that can cause abnormal tissue growth (for example, warts) and other changes to cells. Infection for a long time with certain types of HPV can cause cervical cancer. HPV may also play a role in some other types of cancer, such as anal, vaginal, vulvar, penile (i.e., penial), oropharyngeal, and squamous (i.e., scaly) cell skin cancers. Also called human papillomavirus. In situ is in its original place. For example, in carcinoma in situ, abnormal cells are found only in the place where they first formed. Abnormal, not normal. Describes a state, condition, or behavior that is unusual or different from what is considered normal. An abnormal lesion or growth in or on the body may be benign (not cancer), precancerous (i.e., premalignant) or premalignant (i.e., precancerous) (likely to become cancer), or malignant (cancer). They have not spread. Stage is the extent of a cancer in the body. Staging is usually based on the size of the tumor (i.e., neoplasm), whether lymph nodes contain cancer, and whether the cancer has spread from the original site to other parts of the body.

      • You can conclude that, this would be impossible with today`s technology if DNA damage caused cancer, but it is true and it is another evidence that cancer is not caused by DNA damage.

      • Evidently, a cure for cancer will always be fifty years away. Cure, to heal or restore health; a treatment to restore health.
