Preview- It would appear that, recently, the group of Linz presented the results of a prospective study with histopathologic confirmation on one hundred thirty intermediate (i.e., intermedius) and high-risk patients with newly diagnosed prostate (i.e., prostata, or glandula prostatica) cancer studied with choline PET. Prospective is in medicine, a study or clinical trial in which participants are identified and then followed forward in time. Metastatic, having to do with metastasis (i.e., secondaries), which is the spread of cancer from the primary site (place where it started) to other places in the body.
