People with Helicobacter pylori infections may be more likely to develop cancer in the
stomach, including MALT (mucous membrane (i.e., biomembrane, or membrana)-associated lymphoid tissue) lymphoma. Infection, invasion and multiplication of germs in the body. Infections can occur in any part of the body and can spread throughout the body. The germs may be bacteria, viruses, yeast, or fungi. They can cause a fever (i.e., febris, or pyrexia) and other problems, depending on where the infection occurs. When the body`s natural defense system is strong, it can often fight the germs and prevent infection. Some cancer treatments can weaken the natural defense system. It is clear that, stomach ulcers, also referred to as peptic ulcers or gastric ulcers are abrasions conduced in the mucosal lining of the stomach and bear semblance to ulcers in the mouth (i.e., oral cavity (i.e., cavitas oris, or cavum oris) (i.e., cavitas, or cavernous space), or ostium).
