      • It`s possible to observe, late Personal effects of Treatment (Tx) for Childhood Cancer (PDQ) - Pub. Childhood cancer is a term used to describe cancers that occur between birth and 15 years of age. Childhood cancers are very rare and may differ from adult cancers in the way they grow and spread, how they are treated, and how they respond to treatment. Common types of childhood cancer include leukemia (begins in blood-forming tissue such as bone marrow), lymphoma (begins in the cells of the immune system), neuroblastoma (begins in certain nerve (i.e., nervus) cells), retinoblastoma (begins in the tissues of the retina (i.e., optomeninx)), Wilms tumor (i.e., nephroblastoma) (i.e., neoplasm) (a type of kidney (i.e., ren, or nephros) cancer), and cancers of the brain, bone, and soft tissue.

      • Finally, it would appear that, genetics of Breast (i.e., mamma, or teat) and Ovarian Cancer (PDQ). Ovarian, having to do with the ovaries, the female reproductive glands in which the ova (eggs) are formed. The ovaries are located in the pelvis, one on each side of the uterus (i.e., metra, or womb). Ovarian cancer, cancer that forms in tissues of the ovary (i.e., ovarium, or female gonad) (one of a pair of female reproductive glands in which the ova, or eggs, are formed). Most ovarian cancers are either ovarian epithelial carcinomas (cancer that begins in the cells on the surface (i.e., face, or facies) of the ovary) or malignant germ cell (i.e., sex cell) tumors (cancer that begins in egg cells). Breast, glandular (i.e., glandulous) organ located on the chest (i.e., pectus). The breast is made up of connective tissue (i.e., interstitial tissue, or supporting tissue), fat, and breast tissue that contains the glands that can make milk (i.e., strip, or lac). Also called mammary gland (i.e., glandula mammaria, or lactiferous gland). Genetics is the study of genes and heredity. Heredity is the passing of genetic information and traits (such as eye (i.e., oculus) color and an increased chance of getting a certain disease) from parents to offspring.
