Mass is in medicine, a lump in the body. It may be caused by the abnormal growth of cells, a cyst, hormonal changes, or an immune reaction. A mass may be benign (not cancer) or malignant (cancer). Appetite is a desire to satisfy a physical or mental (i.e., genial, or genian) need, such as for food, sex, or adventure. Diagnosis is the process (i.e., processus) of identifying a disease, such as cancer, from its signs and symptoms.
