    1. information vulva biopsy

Vulva is the external female genital organs, including the clitoris, vaginal lips, and the opening to the vagina. Biopsy is the removal of cells or tissues for examination by a pathologist. The pathologist may study the tissue under a microscope or perform other tests on the cells or tissue. There are many different types of biopsy procedures. The most common types include: (1) incisional biopsy, in which only a sample of tissue is removed; (2) excisional biopsy, in which an entire lump or suspicious area is removed; and (3) needle biopsy, in which a sample of tissue or fluid is removed with a needle. When a wide needle is used, the procedure is called a core biopsy. When a thin needle is used, the procedure is called a fine-needle aspiration biopsy.

      • It might seem to be apparant that, in deciding what surgery is undertaken, your surgeon will consider a number of variables including (i) how big the cancer is and where it is located on the vulva (ii) how deep the cancer is growing through the skin (iii) whether there is evidence from the biopsy that cancer is starting to break away and is appearing in lymphatic vessels (iv) the grade of the cancer which is similar to how angry the cells are. Surgery is a procedure to remove or repair a part of the body or to find out whether disease is present. An operation. IV, into or within a vein. IV usually refers to a way of giving a drug or other substance through a needle or tube inserted into a vein. Also called intravenous. Surgeon is a doctor who removes or repairs a part of the body by operating on the patient.

      • It would appear apparant that, the purpose of the gross examination, the processing of the tissue, and the microscopic examination is to build a logical argument toward a terse assessment of what significance the biopsy has in regard to the patient`s health. Here is the diagnosis for the colon biopsy, above: Diagnosis is the process of identifying a disease, such as cancer, from its signs and symptoms. Tissue is a group or layer of cells that work together to perform a specific function. Colon is the longest part of the large intestine, which is a tube-like organ connected to the small intestine at one end and the anus at the other. The colon removes water and some nutrients and electrolytes from partially digested food. The remaining material, solid waste called stool, moves through the colon to the rectum and leaves the body through the anus. Microscopic, too small to be seen without a microscope. Assessment is in healthcare, a process used to learn about a patient`s condition. This may include a complete medical history, medical tests, a physical exam, a test of learning skills, tests to find out if the patient is able to carry out the tasks of daily living, a mental health evaluation, and a review of social support and community resources available to the patient.

      • It`s possible to deduce that, the labia majora are two prominent skin folds extending down from the mons to the perineum. Perineum is the area of the body between the anus and the vulva in females, and between the anus and the scrotum in males.
