    1. cancer plaque

Plaque is in medicine, a small, abnormal patch of tissue on a body part or an organ. Plaques may also be a build-up of substances from a fluid, such as cholesterol in the blood vessels. Cancer is a term for diseases in which abnormal cells divide without control and can invade nearby tissues. Cancer cells can also spread to other parts of the body through the blood and lymph systems. There are several main types of cancer. Carcinoma is a cancer that begins in the skin or in tissues that line or cover internal organs. Sarcoma is a cancer that begins in bone, cartilage, fat, muscle, blood vessels, or other connective or supportive tissue. Leukemia is a cancer that starts in blood-forming tissue such as the bone marrow, and causes large numbers of abnormal blood cells to be produced and enter the blood. Lymphoma and multiple myeloma are cancers that begin in the cells of the immune system. Central nervous system cancers are cancers that begin in the tissues of the brain and spinal cord. Also called malignancy.

      • It really is obvious that, compromised liver and kidney function, faulty digestion, constipation and bloating are some of the symptoms of a blocked colon. According to the online site, Liver Cancer Symptoms, mucoid plaque, the slimy coating that forms and hardens in the gastrointestinal tract, can prevent absorption of nutrients while attracting toxins and parasites. Cleaning mucoid plaque helps to reduce congestion in the colon, allowing the body to release undigested wastes that otherwise putrefy in the organ, causing discomfort and disease. Gastrointestinal tract is the stomach and intestines. The gastrointestinal tract is part of the digestive system, which also includes the salivary glands, mouth, esophagus, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and rectum. Colon is the longest part of the large intestine, which is a tube-like organ connected to the small intestine at one end and the anus at the other. The colon removes water and some nutrients and electrolytes from partially digested food. The remaining material, solid waste called stool, moves through the colon to the rectum and leaves the body through the anus. Liver cancer, primary liver cancer is cancer that forms in the tissues of the liver. Secondary liver cancer is cancer that spreads to the liver from another part of the body. Constipation is a condition in which stool becomes hard, dry, and difficult to pass, and bowel movements don`t happen very often. Other symptoms may include painful bowel movements, and feeling bloated, uncomfortable, and sluggish. Absorption is the process of taking nutrients from the digestive system into the blood so they can be used in the body. Organ is a part of the body that performs a specific function. For example, the heart is an organ. Kidney function is a term used to describe how well the kidneys work. The kidneys remove waste and extra water from the blood (as urine) and help keep chemicals (such as sodium, potassium, and calcium) balanced in the body. They also make hormones that help control blood pressure and stimulate bone marrow to make red blood cells. Also called renal function. Digestion is the process of breaking down food into substances the body can use for energy, tissue growth, and repair. Liver is a large organ located in the upper abdomen. The liver cleanses the blood and aids in digestion by secreting bile. Bloating is a swelling or feeling of fullness in the abdomen. Bloating is usually the result of gas in the intestines and can be caused by many things, including overeating, lactose intolerance, and constipation. Bloating can also be a side effect of cancer or cancer treatment. Kidney, one of a pair of organs in the abdomen. The kidneys remove waste and extra water from the blood (as urine) and help keep chemicals (such as sodium, potassium, and calcium) balanced in the body. The kidneys also make hormones that help control blood pressure and stimulate bone marrow to make red blood cells. Gastrointestinal, refers to the stomach and intestines. Also called GI.

      • You can conclude that, they cause the barium to coat that area of the esophagus unevenly. Early cancers can look like small round bumps or flat, raised areas (called plaques), while advanced cancers look like large irregular areas and cause a narrowing of the width of the esophagus. Esophagus is the muscular tube through which food passes from the throat to the stomach.

      • Finally, it would appear apparant that, during the procedure, the eye cancer specialists will attach the plaque to the wall of the eye, covering the base of the intraocular tumor. Tumor is an abnormal mass of tissue that results when cells divide more than they should or do not die when they should. Tumors may be benign (not cancer), or malignant (cancer). Also called neoplasm. Intraocular, within the eyeball. Eye cancer, cancer that forms in tissues of and around the eye. Some of the cancers that may affect the eye include melanoma (a rare cancer that begins in cells that make the pigment melanin in the eye), carcinoma (cancer that begins in tissues that cover structures in the eye), lymphoma (cancer that begins in immune system cells), and retinoblastoma (cancer that begins in the retina and usually occurs in children younger than 5 years). Base is in chemistry, a substance that can accept hydrogen ions in water and can neutralize an acid. Bases feel soapy or slippery on the skin and they can turn certain dyes blue. An example of a base is sodium hydroxide. Basicity is measured on a scale called the pH scale. On this scale, a pH value of 7 is neutral, and a pH value of more than 7 to 14 shows increasing basicity.
