      • It could seem apparant that, this is the reason behind the undesirable side effects of cancer treatments on the gastrointestinal tract (i.e., tractus), like nausea (i.e., sicchasia) and vomiting. Gastrointestinal, refers to the stomach (i.e., gaster, or ventriculus) and intestines. Stomach is an organ that is part of the digestive (i.e., digestant) system. The stomach helps digest food by mixing it with digestive juices and churning it into a thin liquid. Also called GI. Nausea is a feeling of sickness (i.e., disease) or discomfort in the stomach that may come with an urge to vomit. Nausea is a side effect of some types of cancer therapy (i.e., therapeusis, or therapia). Gastrointestinal tract is the stomach and intestines. The gastrointestinal tract is part of the digestive system (i.e., alimentary system), which also includes the salivary (i.e., sialic, or sialine) glands, mouth (i.e., oral cavity, or ostium), esophagus, liver (i.e., hepar), pancreas, gallbladder (i.e., vesica biliaris, or vesica fellea), and rectum. ALL is an aggressive (fast-growing) type of leukemia (blood cancer) in which too many lymphoblasts (immature white (i.e., albicans) blood cells) are found in the blood and bone marrow. Also called acute lymphoblastic leukemia and acute lymphocytic leukemia (i.e., lymphatic leukemia, or lymphoid leukemia).

      • It looks that, chemotherapy, a common cancer treatment that shrinks tumors, causes nausea and vomiting in many cancer sufferers. Chemotherapy, treatment with drugs that kill cancer cells.

      • It seems that, common medications used with lung (i.e., pulmo) cancer and the associated risk of nausea and vomiting are. Lung, one of a pair of organs in the chest (i.e., pectus) that supplies the body with oxygen, and removes carbon dioxide from the body. Lung cancer, cancer that forms in tissues of the lung, usually in the cells lining air passages. The two main types are small cell (i.e., oat cell) lung cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. These types are diagnosed based on how the cells look under a microscope.
